The plastic of the VB surface is made of blue, visually detectable and FDA-compliant plastic granulate in accordance with FDA CFR.21 and EU 10/2011 and can therefore be used in contact with food and in pharmaceutical production without any problems.
 
The blue color makes them particularly visible to the human eye, but they are also easily detected by optical monitoring systems in food production. Complete components or even just fragments of them that accidentally end up in food production can therefore be easily and reliably detected.
